Elegant and precisely crafted kitchen knife, ideal for demanding chefs and design lovers! It features a double blade which makes it a very interesting piece. This knife is made of 67 layers of Damascus steel, bonded using the method of metallurgical welding. The result is not only a beautiful blade structure but also exceptional sharpness and durability. It is not intended for chopping or cutting frozen foods. After use, we recommend washing the knife, drying it thoroughly, and storing it safely.

Damascus steel is produced by repeatedly forging, layering, and re-forging several strips of steel with different properties, resulting in a characteristic pattern that can have dozens to hundreds of layers. Damascus steel is long-lasting sharp and resistant due to the grouping of materials with different properties.

The core of the steel is made from one of the highest-rated steels, VG-10. Highly abrasion-resistant stainless steel.

Steel V Gold 10 is commonly known as VG-10 or sometimes V-Kin-10 (kin is short for "gold" in Japanese). VG-10 is a unique formulation of steel with a high carbon content and contains chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and cobalt. The steel is specifically designed for the highest quality knives used both in the kitchen and outdoors. VG-10 is often referred to as "super steel" because it is designed to maintain sharpness and durability without becoming brittle. It is most commonly used in the production of Damascus knives. When the steel is used as a core and is layered with another type of steel, the best properties of the knives are achieved, making them strong, hard, sufficiently flexible, and resistant to corrosion due to the combination of two types of steel.

    • Do not leave knives loose in the sink with water where they are not visible.
  • Maintenance: Regularly sharpen the blade to maintain its functionality. A dull blade requires more force, increasing the risk of slipping and injury.
  • Storage and transport:
    • Always store knives safely in a knife block, on a magnetic strip, or in a drawer with a protective cover/sheath on the blade.
    • Do not store knives loose with other cutlery.
    • During any transport or carrying, the blade must always be protected by a sheath or cover.
  • Disposal: When you decide to dispose of the knife, wrap it safely (e.g., in thick paper or cardboard and tape it) to prevent injury to persons handling the waste. Recycle the material in accordance with local regulations.
