This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of pipe stands. Since they are used near hot pipes, glowing ash, and may contain small parts or magnets, please follow the instructions below to avoid burns, fire, and damage.

Basic Safety and Handling Principles

• Keep out of reach of children: There is a risk of swallowing small parts (screws, washers), injury from sharp edges, and finger pinching with magnetic holders. The product is not a toy.
• Stability and surface: Place on a flat, solid, and non-flammable surface away from table edges and high-traffic areas. Regularly check that screws are tightened and joints are secure.
• Hot pipe parts: Store the pipe so that the hot bowl does not touch flammable parts (wood, leather, textile). Glowing tobacco residues must be secured against falling out.
• Magnetic holders: When placing or removing the pipe, proceed slowly to avoid pinching. Keep magnets away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with pacemakers/ICDs should exercise caution.
• Follow manufacturer instructions: Respect load capacity, recommended pipe type/size, and mounting method (tabletop, wall-mounted, travel).

Proper and Safe Use

• Use as intended: Designed for safe resting of the pipe during and after smoking. The stand is not an ashtray or burner.
• Improper use: Do not carry the stand with a hot pipe inserted, do not place near curtains or flammables, do not cover with textiles. Wall-mounted stands should only be installed on solid surfaces with appropriate anchors.
• Safe surroundings: Maintain free space for handling; avoid placement in walkways or within reach of pets.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Storage

• Cleaning: After cooling, remove ash and tar residues with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive solvents; do not oversaturate wood with water.
• Maintenance: Treat wooden parts with suitable oil/wax; protect leather parts from heat and moisture; replace damaged scratch pads.
• Storage: Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep magnetic components separate from sensitive items.

Specific Health Warnings

• Smoke residues: Tar residues can stain surfaces and cause odors; wash hands after contact and clean the stand regularly.
• Burns: The hot bowl and metal parts of the pipe can cause burns; handle carefully and allow to cool before moving the stand.

Disposal

• Safe disposal: Sort wooden, metal, and plastic parts according to local regulations; hand over magnets and metal components to appropriate collection points. Dispose of ash residues only after complete cooling.
