Well crafted KA-18560 kitchen cleaver at an amazing price! The blades are made of high quality carbon steel. Carbon steel is a basic type of steel containing iron and carbon. The major benefits of carbon steel are toughness, good edge hold and very easy sharpening. When using it, keep in mind that the knife is very sharp and is used for slicing food. We recommend that you wash, dry and put the knife away immediately after use. The knives in this range are unusually sharp and hard (HRC57±2). This knife has a laser pattern.

This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of fixed blade knives. Due to the sharp blade, fixed construction, carrying in a sheath, and use in the field, it is essential to follow the instructions below to avoid injuries and damage.   • Safe workspace: Cut on a stable surface, away from the body and other people; never try to catch a falling knife.
  • Respect local rules: When carrying the knife, comply with local laws and restrictions.

Proper and safe use

  • Use as intended: Designed for cutting suitable materials (food, wood, ropes). Do not use for prying, screwing, nailing, as a hammer, or chisel.
  • Grip and cutting direction: Hold a firm grip; keep fingers out of the blade’s path. When carving, support the material and work in a controlled manner.
