Important safety notice for men's bracelets in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR)

This is a targeted safety notice for the correct and safe use of men's bracelets (metal, beaded, textile/cord, leather, elastic, chain, solid link, with pendants and with magnetic or screw clasps). Due to small parts, magnets, elastic elements, possible sharp edges, and skin contact, please follow the instructions below.

Basic safety and handling principles

• Keep out of reach of children: Small parts (beads, rings, pendants, magnets) pose a swallowing hazard; the product is not a toy.
• Check before wearing: Inspect the clasp, loops, rings, elastic/cord, and sharp edges; do not use a damaged bracelet.
• Risk of catching: Do not wear solid or dangling pendants during sports, machine work, public transport, or sleep; there is a risk of catching and injury.
• Magnetic clasps: Keep away from payment cards and sensitive electronics; persons with pacemakers/ICDs must maintain a safe distance.

Proper and safe use

• Correct size: The bracelet should fit comfortably – it must not press excessively or slip off the wrist; discontinue use if wrist swelling occurs.
• Layering and weight: When wearing multiple bracelets, minimize friction and contact with sharp edges; heavy pendants may irritate the skin.
• Contact with water and chemicals: Remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, sauna, and applying cosmetics/perfumes; salt water, chlorine, and sweat accelerate wear.
• Activities: For exercise and manual work, choose non-metal or soft models without pendants, or do not wear the bracelet.

Cleaning, maintenance, and storage

• Cleaning by material: Wipe metal with a soft damp cloth and dry; polish silver with a soft cloth; clean leather dry and treat with appropriate products; wash textile/silicone with mild soap and water.
• Part maintenance: Regularly check and replace worn elastics, loose rings, and clasps; have loose stones/pendants professionally tightened.
• Storage: Store separately in a case or pouch, dry and away from direct sunlight; keep magnetic parts away from sensitive items.

Specific health warnings

• Allergies and sensitive skin: Some metals (e.g., nickel), dyes, adhesives, and leather may cause reactions; if redness, itching, or swelling occurs, remove the bracelet and consult a doctor if necessary.
• Skin hygiene: After heavy sweating, clean and dry both skin and bracelet to prevent irritation.

Disposal

• Safe disposal: Hand over metal parts for metal recycling; sort leather, textile, and plastic components according to local regulations. Wrap small parts to prevent risk to children and animals.

Incidents and contact
